He might still be young, but his family’s enthusiasm for farming has had an influence on this farmer from an early age and means that he will one day take over his parents’ farm in Deutschnofen as the next generation. And he will do so with dedication and knowing his full responsibility.
Wieserhof farm, at an elevation of 1,280 m, has existed since the 14th century, and has been owned by the Mittermair family since 1640. The farming family owns meadows and forests, 30 dairy cows, 15 heifers, 40 chickens and a few pigs. Deer regularly come into the yard at night. This is a particularly special experience for the guests of the three holiday homes on the farm.
