Meanwhile the Cheese Festival has become a fixed dimension in the Campo Tures event calendar. It takes place every second year and attracts cheese lovers of all Europe.
About 100 cheese producers offer their cheese specialities for sale and live tasting. But the most exciting fact of this event is the enormous variety of palate joy of all kind…chocolate, coffee, different kind of oils, fruits, yogurt…a eternal source of taste for all food lovers.
Mila will also take part joining the exposition stand of the South Tyrolean Daries’ Union.
Mila will expose the famous "Stilfser g.U./Stelvio DOP" which is the only South Tyrolean Cheese with the PDO (Protected designation of origin) protection. But there will also be the more spicy “Alta Badia”, the wild looking wine cheese “Lagrein”, Mila’s long seasoned Hard Cheese “Gran Spicchio” and last but not least the newcomer “Kaminwurzenkäse”. The Cheese Festival is the first public appearance for the “Kaminwurzenköse” in the region where it comes from. It combines two strong local traditions: the art of cheesemaking with the knowledge of Tyrolean smoked sausage.
