Semi hard cheese Lagrein
The Lagrein wine cheese receives its full aromatic taste through the refinement with wine and selected spices. The cheese is enclosed in a rough, rustic rind, characterized by a very elegant appearance. The smell of the rind evokes speck, spices and an intense note of wine cellar. The inside of the cheese is pale to straw yellow and features round or elongated holes. Its consistency on the palate is soft, creamy and melting. The aroma and taste of the cheese are fresh and pleasant. It reveals milky, buttery notes. However, the main flavour is determined by wine, herbs and spices.
