Stuffed ham rolls with "Alta Badia"

for the ham rolls

  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of cheese "Alta Badia"

for the coating

  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • a little salt
  • some frying oil

Preparation

for the ham rolls
Spread the slices of ham side by side, put a slice of "Alta Badia" cheese on each one and roll it up.

for the coating
Prepare 3 plates: one with flour, one with the egg whisked with a fork and one with the breadcrumbs.

Roll the ham rolls one by one in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.

Press the latter lightly so that they stick well.

Fill a frying pan about 2-3 cm high with oil, and as soon as it is hot, fry the ham rolls in it for about 3 minutes on both sides until they’re golden brown.

Remove from the pan, place briefly on kitchen paper to drain and serve.
