The small city Brunico in the Valley of Pusteria in South Tyrol is eponymous for this aromatic cheese. Brunico is the city where this semi hard cheese is produced and it is illustrated also on the label. Its paste is yellowish with irregularly spaced holes. The smooth and creamy texture, the mild odour and the slightly aromatic flavour make the cheese to a pleasurable experience. The used milk comes to 100 % from South Tyrolean mountain farms and is collected every day.
