Semi hard cheese Marienberger

The Marienberger, named after the Marienberg Abbey in the Upper Vinschgau Valley, is enclosed in a firm rind. The inside of the cheese is pale to straw yellow and is pervaded with pea-sized holes. Its consistency in the mouth is compact, smooth and soft. The aroma and taste are fresh with a slightly note of milk.
