A smooth table cheese with an intense aroma
Mila Marienberger is a
soft, smooth table cheese. Produced with premium cow’s milk fresh from alpine dairies in South Tyrol, it reflects all the natural flavours of the best milk the Alps has to offer.
A
relatively short ripening period of about 30 days lends the texture a
mild and smooth feeling on the palate. Marienberger displays a
bright yellow to light orange coloured rind, and a yellowish white paste with irregular pea-sized eyes. The odour is
intensely aromatic while the taste has a
pleasantly tangy note.
