Mila UHT Milk: long lasting and taste intensive
Mila UHT Milk is made from
premium milk fresh from alpine dairies in South Tyrol. A production process called UHT – or
ultra-high-temperature processing – gives this type of milk a much longer shelf life. The milk remains drinkable up to
90 days even without refrigeration. Contrary to popular belief, the UHT process causes virtually no heat damage: it doesn’t noticeably change the taste or alter nutrient content in comparison with fresh milk. Mila UHT Milk contains nearly
all of the vital nutrients that fresh milk does, in similar concentrations. It is nevertheless important to bear in mind that one must consume a bottle of UHT milk, once opened, just as quickly as fresh milk. UHT doesn’t go sour because it contains fewer germs than fresh milk; it is thus harder to recognise when UHT milk has gone bad.
Mila UHT Milk is available
whole (minimum 3,5% fat content),
semi-skimmed (between 1,5% and 1,8% fat content) and
skimmed (0,3% fat content).
